Ein Blick auf den Krummsteert, ein Nehrungshaken an der Südwestspitze von Fehmarn. Im Hintergrund ist die Hütte des Naturschutzbundes zu sehen und ganz klein dahinter die Fehmarnsundbrücke. Die Hütte ist in den Sommermonaten zum Schutz und Forschungszwecken des unter Naturschutz stehenden Gebietes besetzt.

A view of the Krummsteert, a spit hook on the southwest tip of Fehmarn. In the background you can see the hut of the Nature Conservation Union and behind it the Fehmarnsund Bridge (really smal). The hut is occupied during the summer months for the protection and research purposes of the protected area.
